Rome, 8 July (LaPresse) – Valter Lavitola’s questioning at the public prosecutor’s office in Rome has concluded after two hours: the former editor of *Avanti*, who is under investigation on charges of attempted mass murder and membership of a mafia-type criminal organisation in connection with the bomb attack on Sigfrido Ranucci on 16 October 2025, is reported to have answered questions from Chief Prosecutor Francesco Lo Voi and made a statement. Lavitola, accompanied by his lawyer, Sergio Cola, left via the rear exit of the courthouse without making any statements: the two immediately got into a taxi.
