Milan, 11 July (LaPresse) – The funeral of Peppino di Capri, who died aged 86, will take place tomorrow on the island in the Gulf of Naples. The service will be held at 5.00 pm in the Church of Santo Stefano, in the small square in Capri. Mayor Paolo Falco has signed an order declaring a day of mourning to coincide with the funeral. Citizens, associations, organisations, shops and businesses have been invited to observe the day of mourning “in whatever way they deem most appropriate, as a testament to the shared sentiment of gratitude and affection towards the Maestro”, according to a statement. All events organised by the local council have been cancelled.
