Naples, 15 July (LaPresse) – A woman has been murdered in Coriano, in the province of Rimini. A 62-year-old woman was killed in her home by her ex-husband, who, after striking her, called the Carabinieri to report what he had just done. On arrival, the police found the woman’s body and her ex-husband still inside the house. The man is believed to have killed his ex-wife by striking her on the head with a heavy object. The duty public prosecutor from the Rimini Public Prosecutor’s Office also arrived at the scene. The femicide took place inside the woman’s home in the hamlet of Mulazzano, in Coriano (Rimini). The Carabinieri from the Riccione detachment and the Rimini investigative unit are investigating the incident, under the coordination of the Rimini Public Prosecutor’s Office. A court order is expected to be issued in the coming hours against the man, who, after the crime, called 112 to report what he had just done.
