Milan, 25 July (LaPresse) – The mayor of Bologna, Matteo Lepore, went to the police station and filed a complaint against online trolls over threats he received on the internet. This was reported by the Corriere di Bologna, which states that the legal department at Palazzo d’Accursio has examined the messages posted on the mayor’s social media profiles following the death of Abderrahim Fakir and the demonstration in Piazza Nettuno organised by the mayor: these reportedly included death threats against Lepore, who, according to the newspaper, has filed a “complaint and lawsuit to protect himself”.
