Milan, 27 July (LaPresse) – “It is such a complex and dramatic case that it requires further investigation, and many aspects of the private lives of both parties need to be examined.” This is what lawyer Giovanni Mauri, defence counsel for Ridha Rahmounim – the 26-year-old arrested at dawn on 25 July on suspicion of murdering Luigi ‘Luca’ Esposito, the journalist found dead during the night of 18–19 July in the Cioffi area of Eboli, in the province of Salerno – told LaPresse. “I spoke with Ridha Rahmounim both at dawn on 25 July and this morning before the preliminary hearing,” he said. “There are still many important details missing, which will emerge as the investigation continues. I will visit him again in the coming days, but it will take months before we have a clear picture from the experts.”
