Fire at Gardaland, blaze in the ‘Far West’ area

Rome, 28 July (LaPresse) – There was a scare this afternoon at Gardaland, where a fire broke out at around 2 pm in the scenic area of the ‘Far West’ zone. The blaze came close to the tracks of the Raptor rollercoaster, but the ride itself was not directly affected by the fire. Firefighters arrived on the scene and brought the flames under control within a few minutes. People in the vicinity were evacuated, but the park remains open as normal. Investigations are underway to determine the cause of the fire.
