Trentino: tourist dies after falling from his bike on a closed path, witnessed by his son

Trento, 28 July (LaPresse) – He died in front of his son after falling off his bike on a closed path in Trentino. The victim was a tourist from Lombardy, on holiday with his family in Castello Tesino. The man, whose identity has not yet been disclosed, had apparently decided to cycle along the path linking Cinte Tesino to Grigno, a route which is currently closed to the public by order of the local council. It was his son who realised his father was not following him, so he went to find his mother – who had decided not to follow them – to raise the alarm. Firefighters and the Mountain Rescue Service attended the scene: paramedics could only confirm the man’s death.
