Milan, 29 July (LaPresse) – The investigating magistrate in Turin has ordered pre-trial detention for the two young German activists arrested by the Digos on charges of having taken part in the clashes on 25 July at the Turin–Lyon high-speed rail construction site in Val di Susa. This was announced by the Turin Public Prosecutor, Giovanni Bombardieri, in a statement. The investigating magistrate has upheld the arrests and ordered the most severe precautionary measure in relation to the charges of complicity in vandalism and looting, causing bodily harm and aggravated resistance to a public official.
