Campobasso, July 31. (LaPresse) – 131 samples were taken during yesterday’s evidentiary hearing at the home on Via Risorgimento in Pietracatella and destined for the laboratories of the Robert Koch Institute in Berlin. The data was confirmed by the Larino Public Prosecutor’s Office and Prosecutor Elvira Antonelli. The samples, acquired through a rear-end collision activity extended to all the rooms inspected by German specialists together with the Italian Scientific Police and officials of the Bundeskriminalamt (BKA), come from the house where Gianni Di Vita, his wife Antonella Di Ielsi and his daughters Alice and Sara lived, from the apartment on the floor below and from the rooms of the former granary used as a warehouse. They will undergo highly specialized analyses to verify the possible presence of traces of ricin or other components of Ricinus communis. The unique technical assessment concluded late yesterday evening, after more than ten hours of activity inside the property and the subsequent inventorying and recording of the finds. Shortly before midnight, experts from the Robert Koch Institute and German investigators left Pietracatella. The 131 samples left today for Germany, where they will be analyzed in the laboratories of the Federal Institute in Berlin. The outcomes will not be immediate and will require further scientific investigation.
