Rome, 3 Aug. (LaPresse) – Italy remains on red alert until Wednesday 5 August. According to the Ministry of Health’s bulletin, 25 out of a total of 27 monitored cities will be on red alert for the heatwave: Ancona, Bari, Bologna, Bolzano, Brescia, Cagliari, Campobasso, Catania, Civitavecchia, Florence, Frosinone, Genoa, Latina, Milan, Naples, Palermo, Perugia, Pescara, Rieti, Rome, Turin, Trieste, Venice, Verona and Viterbo. Only Messina and Reggio Calabria are spared, with a ‘yellow’ alert forecast for today, whilst they are on ‘orange’ alert for tomorrow and Wednesday.
