Rome, 14 Aug. (LaPresse) – Due to volcanic activity on Mount Etna, the closure of sectors C1 and B3 has been extended, resulting in the suspension of arrivals and departures until 02:00 on 15 August. This has been announced by Sac, the company that manages the airport, which added in its statement: “Passengers are advised to check the status of their flight with their airline before travelling to the airport. Further updates will follow in the coming hours.”
