Trento, 24 August (LaPresse) – Two funeral parlour workers suffered burns following the sudden explosion of a battery in an electric van. The incident took place this morning at the cemetery in Trento. The two workers, aged 57 and 59, were rushed to Santa Chiara Hospital as code red cases due to facial burns. According to initial reports, the two workers, whilst returning from a job, noticed a strong burning smell and opened the battery compartment, which exploded at that very moment. A medical team was on the scene to treat the injured, whilst the fire brigade secured the area.
