Lucca, 29 August (LaPresse) – Alerted by the Carabinieri, the Grosseto Fire Brigade responded to a call in the village of Pomonte, in the municipality of Scansano (Grosseto), to search for a man who had been reported missing. During the search operations, the fire brigade team located the man inside an artificial pond; sadly, he was already deceased. The Grosseto Fire Brigade team is on site. The fire brigade’s diving unit is on its way from Florence and will recover the body. Furthermore, the search continues for the 86-year-old woman who went missing in the municipality of Roccalbegna. Search operations are still underway, involving two teams from the Grosseto Fire Brigade, the forward command post for coordinating operations, dog units and the Fire Brigade’s RPAS (Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems) units.
