Milan, 20 Sept. (LaPresse) – Davide Di Lernia, son of the Italian singer-songwriter and radio presenter Leone Di Lernia, died last night in a road accident in Milan on Via Mecenate, near number 74. The 47-year-old was riding his motorbike from Viale Ungheria towards Piazza Ovidio when, for reasons yet to be established, he swerved to the left and crashed into a metal railing. The presenter, who worked on various radio programmes, died instantly, having been decapitated. The accident occurred shortly after half past midnight. The duty public prosecutor in Milan ordered the seizure of the motorbike. The family has been notified. Officers from the Milan local police and an ambulance attended the scene, but the ambulance crew could do nothing but confirm the death.
