Turin, 21 Sept. (LaPresse) – The Carabinieri in Bologna have arrested a 39-year-old man of Moroccan origin, resident in Bologna, for breaching a restraining order prohibiting him from entering the family home and from approaching places frequented by the victim. The arrest took place during a rescue operation by the Carabinieri in response to a woman who had phoned 112 asking for help. This was because her ex-husband had breached a protective order issued by a judge at the Court of Bologna. The 39-year-old, who is under investigation for stalking and causing grievous bodily harm against his ex-wife, had, instead of complying with the restraining order issued last month, approached the victim and started an argument with her, hurling a stone at her which, fortunately, struck elsewhere. The arrested man was taken to the courtrooms of the Bologna Court for the validation hearing and the simultaneous summary trial.
