Rome, 25 Sept. (LaPresse) – The labour court judge at the Court of Rome, at the conclusion of the hearing to discuss the appeal lodged by Sigfrido Ranucci’s civil lawyers regarding the journalist’s removal from presenting Report, has reserved judgement. The presenter was not heard during the hearing, nor was the director of Rai’s in-depth programmes, Paolo Corsini, who had been summoned as a witness. One of the lawyers representing Rai, Maurizio Santori, explained as he left the court that “the judge will also have to assess whether to hold an oral hearing (to hear witnesses, ed.) or to accept a written submission. This will serve to clarify our client’s requests and the grievances regarding the decision taken by Rai last August”.
