All issues relating to safety and protection will be addressed with the trade union representatives. Today was the time to share our thoughts with the staff on the eve of the reopening. Will the Colosseum reopen tomorrow? Yes, it will reopen tomorrow.” Culture Minister Giuli spoke after meeting with workers at the Archaeological Park following the death of Andrea Moretti, a 22-year-old man who fell to his death whilst working at the Colosseum. “We must look out for one another, talk to one another and listen to one another as a united front, and move forward whilst waiting for justice to take its course. We are also looking forward to meeting with the trade unions as soon as possible in the appropriate forums to discuss the fundamental issues of safety and decent working conditions.”
