Rome, Oct. 1 (LaPresse) – The Carabinieri ROS unit in Lecce carried out a personal, premises and IT search order issued by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate at the Public Prosecutor’s Office in Lecce against a 20-year-old woman from the province of Lecce, who is under investigation for incitement to violence and hatred. According to investigators, through her social media profile and in chats, the young woman promoted initiatives of a neo-fascist and neo-Nazi nature and repeatedly incited racial hatred and the commission of violent acts: in particular, episodes of armed attacks and violence inside schools, better known as ‘mass shootings’, were glorified. Following the search, all computer devices in the possession of the suspect were seized and will subsequently undergo thorough further analysis.
