Rome, 12 Oct. (LaPresse) – “We can observe 12 events – the passing of car headlights on the neighbouring street, Via De Rossi – and in one of these instances, an anthropomorphic shape can be seen, specifically the shadow of a man’s legs on the marble wall at the end of the alley. We hypothesised the presence of someone at the entrance to the alleyway, and these events were recorded between 8.04 pm and 8.14 pm on the evening of 6 March 2013.” This was stated by Adolfo Gregori, an adviser to the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry into the death of David Rossi, whilst showing a video during a hearing before the Commission. From this video, the RIS (Special Investigative Unit) of the Carabinieri deduced the presence of a man in Vicolo Monte Pio, behind Rocca Salimbeni, on the evening of David Rossi’s death, who had fallen shortly before 8.00 pm. “After the fall,” he added, “David Rossi continued to move his head and limbs until 8.17 pm, and the rise and fall of his chest as he breathed could still be seen until 8.20 pm. But someone had been present in the alley as early as 8.04 pm.” Responding to questions from MPs, Gregori went on to add that he had personally verified that “it takes exactly 4 minutes to walk down from Rossi’s office to the alleyway”.
