Rome, 15 Oct. (LaPresse) – “I would hope it doesn’t come to an actual trial. On the one hand, I’m glad that the investigation has finally been closed. We expected there to be a request for indictment. I hope to get to court quickly, at least for the preliminary hearing, because at least there we could discuss everything and perhaps explain everything.” So said Andrea Sempio, the 38-year-old under investigation by the Pavia Public Prosecutor’s Office for the murder of Chiara Poggi, speaking to Sky TG24. “I’ve been here for two years now, saying that I’m suffering, but they’ve been through years and years and years of court cases. So their situation is probably even harder than mine; after all, they’ve lost a daughter. I’d have liked to meet them; I don’t have much to say, but I’d send them a hug.”
