Milan, 22 Oct. (LaPresse) – “Milan will be manned, and so will the stations. Then having 500 paratroopers from Folgore, with an average age of over 40 who have had experiences abroad in many Milanese squares, is a guarantee for me, starting from Saturday. They will ensure public order, together with other law enforcement agencies, and intervene if necessary, including by means, with Lynxes, with drones, with adequate means to intervene quickly. They will be prepared to do what a military must and can do, respecting current legislation. They will be prepared to intervene according to current legislation: they are military personnel, they will respect the law, it’s not like they will go around doing strange things. I, a father of two, am more at peace if I have 500 paratroopers with their heads on their shoulders watching what happens”. This was stated by Prime Minister Matteo Salvini, on the sidelines of the Council of Ministers meeting, which he attended via video link from the Prefecture of Milan.
