Milan, 6th March (LaPresse) – The President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, has arrived in Kyoto, the second stop on his official visit to Japan, accompanied by his daughter Laura and the Deputy Foreign Minister Edmondo Cirielli. He reached the Japanese city by taking the Shinkansen high-speed train. In the city he will visit the Nanzen-ji Temple and garden. In the evening he will meet with fellow Italians, while tomorrow he will visit Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, and the Buddhist temple Kiyomizu-dera. On Saturday Mattarella will reach Hiroshima, the last stop on his trip.
