April 25: Mattarella at the Altar of the Fatherland, lays laurel wreath

Rome, 25 April (LaPresse) – President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella has arrived at the Altare della Patria for the ceremony marking the 80th anniversary of the Liberation. Among those present were Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, the presidents of the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate Lorenzo Fontana and Ignazio La Russa, the president of the Constitutional Court Giovanni Amoroso, Defence Minister Guido Crosetto, and the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri. After the ceremony of honours and the playing of the Italian anthem, the Head of State will lay a laurel wreath.
