Ukraine, M5S: "We ask the government to confirm the limits on the use of Italian missiles"

Rome, May 27 (LaPresse) – "German Chancellor Merz stated that Germany, following the United States, the United Kingdom, and France, has decided to authorize Kyiv to use long-range missiles against Russian territory. Ministers Crosetto and Tajani have always affirmed that the long-range Storm Shadow missiles supplied by Italy cannot be used against Russian targets outside Ukrainian territory. Today, we ask the government to clarify whether this limitation is still in place for Italy or if an alignment with Berlin, Paris, and London is being considered. In that case, parliamentary authorization would be necessary since we are talking about a decision that, in violation of Article 11 of our Constitution, would place Italy in a state of belligerency against Russia." This was stated by the M5S parliamentarians from the Foreign Affairs and Defense Committees of the Chamber and Senate.
