Rome, Sept. 21 (LaPresse) – “Regarding the separation of careers, I understand the intention, but in the end the result is harmful for politics itself as well as for citizens. Everything will depend on the rules implemented afterward,” said former Chamber of Deputies president and former magistrate Luciano Violante in an interview with Il Tempo. “I know the people who worked on the bill and I am certain they made every possible effort to improve the status quo,” he added. “I say this without rhetoric. That said, a reform that was supposed to bring order risks ultimately generating disorder.”
