Rome, Sept. 22 (LaPresse) – “Minimal impact, very low participation, only 3% of trains canceled between High Speed and Intercity. The problem has been criminals, thugs, and delinquents who blocked roads, ports, and stations. Those who today stormed stations, blocked highways and ports do not care about the children of Gaza or ending wars in the world—they want social conflict,” said Deputy Prime Minister and Lega leader Matteo Salvini on Tg1. “In the coming weeks, another 44 strikes—both general and local—are already scheduled. Italians who were left stranded today are also workers, as are the dozens of police officers injured and sent to the hospital. We will prevent this from happening again and will require a security deposit from those who organize marches and demonstrations; if any damage occurs, they will pay out of their own pockets,” Salvini added.
