Almasri case: Chamber denies authorization to proceed against Nordio, Mantovano and Piantedosi

Rome, Oct. 9 (LaPresse) – The Chamber of Deputies has approved the resolution denying the authorization to proceed requested by the Tribunal of Ministers in the Almasri case, concerning Justice Minister Carlo Nordio, Interior Minister Matteo Piantedosi, and Undersecretary Alfredo Mantovano. The Montecitorio assembly voted through three separate secret ballots, reaching in each case the required absolute majority.
