Milan, 12 October (LaPresse) – “My very clear words today against anti-Semitism have been distorted by those who are motivated by a guilty conscience and have an interest in exploiting them to hide the anti-Jewish hatred that has been boiling unchecked on the left since 7 October, or by those who did not hear the speech directly. To imagine that someone like me, who has always been a friend of Israel and the Jewish people, could stand before the Union of Jewish Communities and utter words of denial is ridiculous, even more than manipulative. Moreover, the audience listening to me understood the meaning of my speech perfectly. In any case, I will be very happy to attend a hearing on yesterday’s and today’s anti-Semitism in the Segre Commission, where any doubts can be clarified, first and foremost in front of Senator Segre, who is certainly acting in good faith and whom I will call directly, and also in front of those who, since 7 October, have shown very little good faith. This was stated in a note by Eugenia Roccella, Minister for Family, Birth Rate and Equal Opportunities.
Shoah: Roccella, I will go to the Segre Commission on anti-Semitism yesterday and today
