Gaza, Pizzaballa: ‘No more bombings, but aid is still scarce’

Rome, 26 October (LaPresse) – “There were deaths even before the war, it’s not like they’re anything new. There are deaths in the West Bank too. So, it continues. The situation today? There are no bombings like before, there is no operation like before, but it is a very fragile truce, with constant clashes and provocations. Is aid getting through? Not much, very little. The issue of Israeli bodies and hostages is still unresolved, which is a decisive issue. Something has been unblocked in the last few hours. We will see, through Egypt, but not only. Let’s see what happens. This problem will also be resolved in some way, but the problem of what comes next is still to be worked out’.
