Almasri case: Ministers’ Court dismisses Nordio-Piantedosi-Mantovano proceedings

Rome, 28 October (LaPresse) – After the Chamber denied authorisation to proceed, the Court of Ministers dismissed the proceedings against Ministers Carlo Nordio and Matteo Piantedosi and Undersecretary to the Prime Minister Alfredo Mantovano in the Almasri case. The decision of the panel is a necessary act due to “lack of conditions for proceeding against the individuals for whom authorisation was denied”, according to the dismissal order, which “is irrevocable”. The order was forwarded to the Chamber’s Authorisation Committee.
