Rome, 30 October (LaPresse) – “I believe that justice reform represents a historic opportunity to achieve a more efficient and fairer justice system. These are common-sense rules: separation of careers, which means strengthening the impartiality of judges, thus ensuring fairer trials; a high disciplinary court, which means that if a judge makes a mistake tomorrow, they will finally take responsibility for it; and the random selection of members of the CSM, which means freeing the judiciary from politicised currents and thus enhancing merit.‘ This is what Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said in an interview with Tg1. ’I believe the referendum should be a consultation on justice. First of all, because there will be no consequences for the government in any case. We will reach the end of the legislature. We will ask Italians to judge us on the work we have done as a whole,” she added.
