Justice reform, Mantovano: “The judiciary blocks expulsions, Ilva, and Milan’s development”

Milan, Nov. 4 (LaPresse) – “There is a substitution of the choices of part of the judiciary for the choices of politics. Today, in certain cases, expulsions, security policies, and industrial policies are blocked,” as in the case of the former Ilva “which wants to achieve certain objectives through judicial decisions.” This was stated by the Undersecretary to the Prime Minister’s Office, Alfredo Mantovano, on ’10 Minuti’ on Retequattro. “In Milan, urban development is halted based on the decision of a small group of prosecutors; no official signs anything anymore, and companies are at a standstill. In one of Europe’s most important cities, this represents an overreach,” which “must be brought back under control,” he added.
