Medicine, Bernini: ‘There’s no going back, corrective measures are already in place’

Milan, 17 December. (LaPresse) – ‘We have no intention of going back. We consider it unacceptable to return to that horrible market of tests and companies that provide fake training on selective and non-formative tests, which we all agreed to escape from.’ This was stated by Anna Maria Bernini, Minister of University and Research, responding to question time in the Chamber of Deputies on the six-month filter for admission to medical school. ‘The reform is moving forward with the students. We had no certainties, which is why we already prepared corrective measures yesterday during the meeting of the CNSU, the National Council of University Students. We decided with them to set up a permanent group on medicine,’ she said. ‘We intend to continue to implement the reform on the basis of the principles of fairness, inclusiveness and democracy,’ she stressed.
