Justice, Schlein: ‘Meloni attacks to delegitimise the judiciary’

Naples, 11 January (LaPresse) – ‘It seemed to me to be an attack aimed at delegitimising the judiciary, and we will see many more in this campaign leading up to the referendum.’ This was said by PD secretary Elly Schlein on In Onda on La7, referring to Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s statements at a press conference on justice reform. ‘Minister Nordio,’ added Schlein, ‘said that he cannot understand why I do not see that this reform will also serve us if we come to power. We do not want it to serve us; we do not think that when we get one more vote in the next elections, as we will, we should not be subject to the control of the judiciary.’
