(LaPresse) – ‘A state of emergency has been requested for all three regions’ affected by bad weather, Calabria, Sicily and Sardinia, ‘I expect us to be quick and diligent in responding to these situations’. This was stated by the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Matteo Salvini, during question time in the Chamber of Deputies. “The latest news reports that the Messina-Catania-Syracuse railway line has been interrupted, a section of the Cagliari underground has been closed, the railway line between Battipaglia and Paola is recovering, and the Sulcitana, the state road between Cagliari and Capoterra, has also been closed,” added the Deputy Prime Minister.
