Rome, 17 February (LaPresse) – ‘An unfortunate incident occurred in Tehran, where an Iranian parliamentarian tore up a photo of President Mattarella, to whom we extend our solidarity. For this reason, I have decided to summon the Iranian ambassador for clarification.’ This was announced by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani during a hearing of the Senate Foreign Affairs and Defence Committee on the Board of Peace for Gaza.
