Rome, 25 Feb. (LaPresse) – “There is no legal shield, it’s a lie, and anyone who talks about it should read the law because there is no legal shield for law enforcement. Regarding Rogoredo, if that policeman, who is now a former officer, is also a murderer, he will pay for his responsibilities, but even at dinner with Jesus Christ there was Judas. There is always a rotten apple, but that does not mean that hundreds of thousands of law enforcement officers are all like the one in Rogoredo.” This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Antonio Tajani, secretary of Forza Italia, on the sidelines of the party secretariat meeting at the Chamber of Deputies. When asked for a comment on Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini’s statements following the news event, Tajani replied: “I said nothing about the Rogoredo case. Laws are not made for one person. Laws are not made for cynical electoral or propaganda purposes.”
