Rome, 5 March (LaPresse) – “For security reasons, we have decided to temporarily close the Italian embassy in Tehran. The diplomatic staff is moving to Baku, where it will continue to maintain relations with Iran, so the embassy in Azerbaijan will also serve as the embassy to Iran. The transition is now complete.” This was stated by Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani after communicating with the Senate.
