Referendum, Nordio: ‘I think Bartolozzi will apologise, his words were exaggerated’

Milan, 10 March (LaPresse) – “Dr Bartolozzi’s words were perhaps a little too emphatic. In any case, I have confirmed my absolute confidence in the judiciary, in the ability of magistrates to fulfil their duty as I have tried to do for 40 years. I still consider myself to be part of the judiciary, and I am certain that Dr Bartolozzi’s words referred to that small minority that she herself described as politicised. As for the rest, I think she will probably apologise for these words, which were perhaps a little too emphatic.” These were the words of Justice Minister Carlo Nordio, speaking on the sidelines of a meeting on the referendum in Milan.
