Rome, 11 March (LaPresse) – ‘This is a war that, as President Meloni said, nobody wanted, and we are trying to manage its devastating effects in such a way that they have no repercussions. This can only be done by being strong in Italy, because this gives us strength at European level to approach the issue differently, for example by trying to detach Hormuz from the war, which would already be an achievement, and then bringing the resolution of these problems to multilateral bodies.’ This was the response of Defence Minister Guido Crosetto in the Transatlantico corridor of the Chamber of Deputies to reporters who asked him about possible convergence with the opposition on the resolutions following Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni’s communications.
