Referendum, Schlein: “I’m surprised Bartolozzi is still there, she hasn’t apologized”

Rome, Mar 11 (LaPresse) – “I’m surprised that” the Chief of Staff of the Ministry of Justice, Giusi Bartolozzi, “is still there. It’s true that she actually expressed the thoughts of many in the government, who don’t say them out loud, but I am surprised by one thing: Minister Nordio had said she would apologize, and no apology has come for these words, quite the opposite.” This is what the PD secretary, Elly Schlein, said on Omnibus on La7.

“Does it seem normal to you that in a country where wages are among the lowest in Europe, family purchasing power is declining, and industrial production has fallen for 30 months, if you look at the Prime Minister’s social media, it seems like a judicial gossip magazine? They instrumentalize current events—think of Rogoredo, where it is Meloni who should still apologize for attacking judges,” Schlein added, concluding: “Fortunately, they investigated, because otherwise that policeman would still be in uniform. So, faced with all this, this delegitimization of judges is not good for the country, which is the real point of this government with this reform,” which “wants to weaken the independence of the judiciary” and the “rights of all citizens.”
