Referendum, Schlein: ‘We will beat Meloni in the general election; there is already an alternative majority’

Rome, 23 March (LaPresse) – ‘We will defeat Giorgia Meloni in the upcoming general election. There is already an alternative majority to the government. This vote places a great responsibility on us. We will work with the forces of the progressive coalition to build that alternative.’ So said PD Secretary Elly Schlein during a press conference at the Nazareno. ‘This right-wing bloc is not unbeatable and we will defeat it, not by chasing it on its own ground but by challenging it on the priorities for the country,’ added Schlein.
