On the Energy Bill, Boccia (PD): ‘Only stopgap measures on fuel’

Rome, 2 April (LaPresse) – “The first energy bill decree has proved useless. The first measure on excise duties lasted twenty days. Now they’re going to introduce another one that will last until the end of the month. The result is that petrol still costs two euros. The government is in a state of confusion. The right wing has implemented four out of five budget measures in the name of austerity. Now there is talk of breaching the Stability Pact. To do what: investment and social spending? Let’s discuss it. But in recent years, the right wing has never accepted a debate.” So said the leader of the PD senators, Francesco Boccia, on Sky Start.
