Iran, Meloni in Saudi Arabia: ‘Italy is providing defensive aid and working towards a diplomatic solution’

Rome, 4 April (LaPresse) – Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has just departed from Jeddah (the first stop on her tour of the Gulf region, during which she is also scheduled to meet with the leaders of Qatar and the United Arab Emirates), where she was received last night by the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia, Mohammed bin Salman. This was announced in a statement from Palazzo Chigi. Prime Minister Meloni wished to express, through her presence, Italy’s solidarity with Saudi Arabia.
