Iran, Meloni meets Qatari Emir: focus on diplomatic efforts to navigate out of crisis

Rome, Apr. 4 (LaPresse) – After her visit to Jeddah, Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni stopped in Doha, where she was received by the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani. During the meeting, according to a note from Palazzo Chigi, the two leaders “agreed to work together to further develop cooperation and joint investments, to strengthen all dimensions of security, especially in the strategic areas of defense, critical infrastructure, food security, and multilateral cooperation for managing migration along Mediterranean routes.”
