Milan, April 18 (LaPresse) – “This Italy that works and never bows its head has come out to defend a free, courageous man who has never betrayed it: Matteo Salvini. Matteo made decisions when others were making speeches; when he was interior minister, he protected the borders and courageously stopped illegal migrant landings. For this he was constantly attacked by the far left, dragged before the courts and accused of doing his duty. Today, the Italian justice system has fully acquitted him, and I would like to say that his battle is our battle, the battle of all European peoples who refuse to give in to mass immigration,” said Jordan Bardella, president of the Rassemblement National, speaking at the European Patriots rally in Piazza Duomo in Milan. “In France, we are about to say goodbye to Emmanuel Macron. With Marine Le Pen we are fighting a battle to allow our people to regain their pride. A victory for the Rassemblement National will not be only a French victory, but one for all European nations,” Bardella added.
