Tourism, Meloni: ‘The state must put entrepreneurs in a position to compete’

Rome, 18 April (LaPresse) – ‘Italy continues to climb the global rankings of the most visited countries. Italian tourism has returned strong, solid and healthy thanks to the operators who have rolled up their sleeves’. This was stated by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni at the 76th national assembly of Federalberghi currently taking place in Rome. ‘In this context, we have sought to do what is required of politics. But the state does not create wealth. Jobs,’ observed the Prime Minister, ‘are not created by decree; what the state must do is put entrepreneurs in the best position to compete and generate wealth.’
