In a city awarded the Gold Medal of the Resistance, people wearing Jewish symbols – the Star of David – cannot march safely 81 years after the Liberation. It is extremely serious that the government has not put in place proper measures to allow the march to proceed safely. We will hold Minister Piantedosi to account.” So said Democratic Party MP Lia Quartapelle following the removal of the Jewish Brigade from the 25 April march in Milan.
