Rome, 26 April (LaPresse) – “We hope to complete the second reading of the Prime Minister’s Office bill shortly, because for us it is the other pillar that can guarantee stability alongside the electoral law. And on this point, I would like to know from the left, especially the PD, what they intend to do: do they have a proposal? If they want the quagmire of technical governments or broad-based coalitions that would result from the current law, then there is no point in holding primaries, because none of them would be in power anyway. I hope it is not true that they want to leave it to us to draft a law without taking responsibility for it, only to then reap the benefits that the law ensures…”. So said Luca Ciriani, Minister for Relations with Parliament, in an interview with Corriere della Sera.
