Milan, 7 June (LaPresse) – Polling stations are open in 42 Italian municipalities set to hold a run-off in the local elections, scheduled for today and 8 June. The majority of those vying for leadership of local administrations are towns with populations exceeding 15,000. Six provincial capitals are involved: Lecco, Arezzo, Macerata, Chieti, Trani and Agrigento. In total, the election involves over 1.13 million voters.
